Twenty

Released: March 25, 2010
Directed By: Lee Byeong-Hun

When three guys recently turn 20, the reality of living a life is upon them. Starring Kim Woo-bin (Chi-ho), Lee Junho (Dong-woo), and Kang Ha-neul (Kyung-jae), these three graduate high school students begin to follow a path. The film is one of those coming of age films, as it follows the three characters of their life after high school.
I found this film to be a bit boring with very little plot throughout. I also found there to be too many sexual jokes which brought down the quality overall. The actor Kim Woo-bin and Kang Ha-neul have performed in much better Korean films and Korean dramas. The acting felt cheap and maybe the script of the story was designed so. By the middle of the film, I had already lost interest. I thought that film dragged on for too long and could have be cut a little shorter. As my personal opinion, this was the least interesting film of the class.
The film relies on the characters’ acting – there is no real plot in this film. Compared to Kim Woo-bin’s acting in the Con Artist, I thought he was much better (most likely because the film was had a plot). Kang Ha-neul was in a drama called Misaeng, and that drama also had plot.
